Feb 2    Colorado Small Business Tax and Budget Workshop

 

With tax season upon us, Small Business Majority and the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce invite small business owners and self-employed entrepreneurs to a free business workshop on how to navigate your tax filings for financial savings, prosperity and sustainability.
Additionally, information will be provided to help you understand where your Colorado tax dollars go and how our state budget is structured.

Small business tax experts will present on the following topics:
  • Learn when to file taxes, how to make payments and how to identify your worker classification
  • Identify record-keeping best practices for IRS reporting and deductions
  • Tax Rates, including self-employment tax and their effect on small business
  • Discussion around the current state of Colorado's budget and tax structure.
This event is free and open to the public.
