Repairs, tests, programs and troubleshoots all fire-alarm and clock equipment (e.g., master-clock, secondary-clock systems, fire alarm systems) in order to achieve a 100% system function for life safety.

What You'll Do:
Diagnoses, repairs or replaces faulty electronic components in fire alarm control systems
Communicates and coordinates with third party testing company, and corrects deficiencies in accordance with Denver Fire Code requirements
Conducts fire drill training for on site staff and responds to fire alarms Responds to fire alarms and conducts fire drills
Determines products and supplies, coordinates material order and obtains supplies from vendors
Prepares and cleans up job site, evaluates safety concerns for staff, students, and self
Performs work and cross trains in at least one other trade as an apprentice
Assists with snow removal efforts on an on call basis
Responds to emergency call outs as needed
Perform other duties, as needed
What You’ll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to ten years experience and training; minimum as follows: , L2: Four (4) years of experience.
District specific training or equivalent required for all levels.
(5) years of Commercial Fire Alarm installation and troubleshooting experience.
Must have and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License and meet District insurability standards.
Denver Fire License - CSA FA2 required.
